Join the Indirect Material Team of Group Procurement

You will become part of the Indirect Material team within DOVISTA – the Danish company behind several leading and distinctive brands within vertical windows and exterior doors, and a proud member of the VKR Group.

 

Your role

As Category Manager, Logistics, you will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and implementing procurement strategies on Logistics with a strong commercial focus, across 16 Dovista locations, in 8 European countries for 12 distinctive brands. This includes tendering, contract management, cost negotiations, and delivering savings. You will report directly to the Director of Indirect Group Procurement and collaborate closely with local logistics management across Dovista.

Although you will be based in Rudersberg, you will be part of a global team.

 

Key responsibilities

  • Deliver tangible savings by optimizing the logistics category and managing contract situations across countries and entities
  • Manage logistics services strategically, covering procurement of transportation, rent of external warehouses and logistics-related services (e.g. forklifts) within Group Procurement
  • Track and report on procurement performance metrics, including cost savings, compliance and supplier consolidation
  • Research and analyze trends within logistics services and technologies, identifying opportunities for improvement
  • Oversee supplier performance management and maintain relationships full Dovista footprint
  • Coordinate closely with operations partners and key stakeholders to align commercial KPIs with operational requirements
  • Act as a Group Procurement ambassador, championing compliance with procurement policies, processes and tools

 

Your background

  • Degree in Business Administration, or Logistics, or Supply Chain Management or related
  • 5+ years of professional experience in logistics management within a procurement environment
  • Work experience across multiple sites and countries
  • Business fluent in German and English, proficiency in Polish is an advantage
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, change-driven environment
  • Stiving to get things done in a hands-on mentality
